Summary/Spoiler Summary
As Akane watches, female Ranma trains with Ryouga for the Martial Arts Aerobics event. Finally, Ryouga persuaded Akane to go to sleep while he and female Ranma continued their training. The next morning, Akane limped to the dojo and discovered female Ranma and Ryouga were still there. Akane took the exhausted Ranma to St. Hebereke, where Kodachi immediately started his dirty tricks.
Meanwhile, Ryouga goes to school but is splashed with water and becomes a pig. Kodachi captures him to use in the match. Once they got into the ring, female Ranma decided to use his real name and left. However, Kodachi distracted female Ranma long enough to chain him to P-chan. After a very long battle, with Kodachi cheating like crazy, female Ranma finally won. Kodachi agrees to leave Ranma-sama, but then declares his love, leaving Akane and Ranma stunned.
Thinking/Evaluating
There's not really much to talk about Ranma 1/2 07. Absolute rubbish subtitles aside, the story is still very enjoyable. Sometimes Kodachi makes her ojousama laugh. She then uses all sorts of dirty tactics and cheating to defeat female Ranma. But in the end, Ranma won because he had to. Still, it was a blast.
HAYASHIBARA Megumi takes up almost all of Ranma's voice time in this episode. At 57 years old, she has never backed down. She still delivers her lines with all the enthusiasm she did 35 years ago. Indeed, sometimes hearing her high-pitched voice makes me want to watch it again The Slayersas she voices Lina Inverse in it. I'm really glad she came back for this.
Final thoughts and conclusions
Final, Ranma 1/2 07 is a fun romp, filled with humorous action.
