Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Episode 1: Summary
The previous episode started with Muzan meeting the demons on the Moon and discussing the events. The deaths of Gyutaro and Daki are a great loss to the demons, especially since more than a century has passed since a High Moon was defeated. Another reason for demon summoning is to inquire about the blue spider lily, which Muzan believes can give him the power to go out during the day, but it has yet to be found.
Muzan tells the demons that he knew Gyutaro would do it because Daki kept him. On the other hand, Tanjirou finally woke up after two months in a coma. A week later, Tanjirou fully recovered to everyone’s joy. Tanjirou is informed that Zenitsu and Inosuke have recovered and have been sent on a mission. Tanjirou asks about his broken sword to see if a new one has been sent but instead receives hateful letters.
The girls suggest that Tanjirou go to the Blacksmith’s Village to get his sword because Haganezuka refuses to send the sword to Tanjirou. Tanjirou obtained permission from the head of the demon slaying corps, and with Kakushi’s help, he reached the village. There, he meets the village chief, who tells him that Haganezuka has gone into hiding and that he will ask another swordsmith to build his sword if Haganezuka refuses to do so.
Tanjirou goes to the hot spring and sees Mitsuri running towards him, crying that she was ignored by someone. Tanjirou then realizes that it was Genya who ignored Mitsuri. After taking a dip in the hot spring, Tanjirou reunites with Mitsuri, who has been playing with Nezuko for a while. The next day, Tanjirou goes out and finds hashira Muichirou arguing with someone about an ancient training doll.
