In the November issue of Shogakukan’s Betsucomi magazine, Kanoko Sakurakoji’s upcoming manga was released along with the title, preview images, and synopsis. The much-anticipated manga series is scheduled to debut in the December issue of the magazine and hit shelves on November 13.
The manga, appropriately titled “Mitsu to Gekiyaku” (Intimacy and Potential), promises to be a fascinating read. Romantic-suspense story. The opening chapter is 61 pages long, impressing readers with a captivating, colorful opening page. Additionally, the manga will appear on the cover of the December issue.

The story’s focus revolves around Aoko, the youngest child of the prestigious Jioka family, and Akira, her devoted protector. Akira’s steadfast guardianship has been a constant presence in Aoko’s life since childhood, but she remains ignorant of his true self. However, a pivotal incident created a transformation in their relationship.
Sakurakoji’s previous work, “8!-Eight-,” first appeared in Betsucomi magazine in April 2022, culminating in May of the same year.
Previously, in January 2015, Sakurakoji introduced “Seirou Opera” (Edo Brothel Opera) , ending the series in November 2019. Shogakukan saw fit to compile 12 volumes of this manga.
In June 2014, Sakurakoji completed the three-volume manga “Last Notes” that was first released in 2013.
Sakurakoji is widely known for her extraordinary supernatural romance manga, “Black Bird,” which also appeared in the pages of Betsucomi and ended in December 2012.

In North America, Viz Media published this fascinating manga series. Notably, Viz Media also brought Sakurakoji’s 2-volume manga “Backstage Prince” to North American audiences.
