Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2 – Original Soundtrack
The highly anticipated second season of the adaptation kicked off in July with the Hidden Treasure/Early Death arc, focusing on Geto and Suguru’s shared past. Studio MAPPA returned to produce the sequel, this time under the direction of Shota Goshozono. In addition to the television anime, the franchise also has a prequel film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, also animated by the same studio. The plot takes place after the Hidden Inventory/Early Death arc but before the events of the first season.
Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the manga by Gege Akutami which is currently being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga launched on March 5, 2018 and has since become one of the most popular shounen titles today. Viz Media is publishing it in English and fans can also read it for free on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus app but only for most recent chapters.
