Ryoko Kui's fantasy manga Delicious in Dungeon won the “Best Manga” category at this year's Harvey Awards, taking place at New York Comic 2024.
Yen Press editor Thomas McAlister accepted the award on Kui's behalf, and also provided her statement on receiving the award, saying that the award inspired and motivated her as she made his next movie.

The late Dragon Ball franchise creator Akira Toriyama was also inducted as one of five new members in the Harvey Awards Hall of Fame earlier this week.
This manga series was serialized in Enterbrain's Harta magazine on February 14, 2014 and ended on September 15, 2023. A total of 14 tankobon volumes have been released. Yen Press publishes the manga in English.

The manga is inspired by the 24-episode anime television series from Triggerwith a second season being announced for production this past June.
The annual Harvey Awards were established in 1988 to honor “outstanding work in the fields of comics and serial art.” It has been held at New York Comic Con since 2017.
