「降霊」 (Kōrei)
“Seance”
Straight out of the episode – only one thing to say. The animation ends, shuts down, and shoots into the stratosphere. This is the kind of jaw-droppingly intense action that will keep you glued to the edge of your seat. If anything needs to be delivered, it will be delivered, packaged, tightly sealed, exported and shipped. This is it.
The animation of this episode left me hanging as my eyes couldn’t take their eyes off the screen every second.
I gasped as the episode ended, just adding to the inescapable realization that each episode was a week apart.
But that’s what makes the movie so exciting – a movie this good makes people wait with bated breath.
Looks aside—let’s dive into the episode, where once again, you get my first impressions. Pure thoughts as they come and I write them, you will have the pleasure of experiencing them. Animation – great? As it runs out of time and brings us in, Mago, the guy with the mullet, (Watanuki, Ryuunosuke), Ogami (Karasawa, Jun) and Jirou (Hirota, Minoru), all protect the curtain that is was built up under Shibuya. They are introduced as supporting characters, about to play a big role in the overall story.
Yuji, Megumi and Takuma, all moved towards them as they realized that the person controlling the veil should probably do so. in the most visible places. From there, they were quickly discovered and a battle ensued, it seemed that both Yuji and Megumi went after Jirou while Takuma stayed with Mago and Ogami to try to defeat them. A battle then ensues between the two groups and the show cuts away at key moments to show both sides. Masterfully self-paced the most intense 24 minutes ever to grace a TV screen. Of course it’s not without its twists and turns. Including rabbits!
First, Kaichi, Reiki, Kirin and Ryu, Good Animals Ino summoned to help him, unlike Shikigami, they did not materialize, instead a part of them came to help Ino, as long as the mold His face is covered. First, he tries to use a horn-like object that acts as a guided missile, and the other technique he uses allows him to control the water he can slide under, The third technique was stopped just before it was started, and it appeared that the Unicorn had been stopped. but absent from this war.
But oh there’s more and it’s so delicious! Mago eats what looks like a small piece of meat from a tube, only to reveal that Toji has returned from the dead and has now become like Sakuna?!
Of course that was my original question, but all will be explained in due time. Indeed, the battle became much more difficult.
Moving on to Megumi and Yuuji, Megumi mentions how much strength it takes to keep up with Itadori, and that his incredible strength is something to be commended. I’m still eagerly waiting since Sakuna has been largely inactive throughout this season, as we get closer to the 12 episode mark I’m hoping there’s some plot point that brings him back.
Back in the fight, Megumi quickly figures out this man’s weakness and that he has some kind of inverse curse that they must overcome, otherwise, they will never be able to hit him. Megumi summons bunnies! And trap the guy while they come up with their next plan. Megumi and Yuuji perform an intricate dance around each other as they bring this plan to fruition. It’s a sped-up viewing!
I think the biggest takeaway from this episode is how many atrocities Ogami’s group committed, but it was because of Gojo’s birth that they had to put an end to their crimes, which included teasing tease’ around the skull of a seemingly outsider who survived the curses of only his head. It’s dark stuff. Another aspect of the episode that shocked me! But JJK has always been a dark series, which just goes to show how far users can escape the curse of body horror we may not yet be aware of. That aside, I can’t wait to watch more episodes of JJK!
