The Jujutsu Kaisen manga is back this week and chapter 244 spoilers have hit the internet.
The battle between Takaba and Kenjaku was long and unexpected. Considering how unexpected the fight was, seeing a comedian fight against the strongest sorcerer was a treat.
As all concluded, Takaba and Kenjaku’s fight reached its climax in the previous chapter. But at the last moment, Yuta arrived and decapitated Kenjaku in the blink of an eye. However, Kenjaku is still alive and his “Testament” will continue.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 Spoilers & Raw Scans:
According to the spoiler, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244 will be titled “Shinjuku Showdown Part – 16”, starting by shifting the focus to Higurama and Yuji approaching Sukuna.
Suddenly, we are greeted with a flashback of all the witches meeting and completing their plans.
The magicians plan to take down Kenjaku by distracting him with Yuta’s help. This plan will only progress if Gojo loses.
Regarding the battle with Sukuna, Kusakabe says that they need to choose who will fight and who won’t. Kashimo suggests that everyone should jump in and fight, as this is an all-out war.
Kusakabe reveals that Miwa cannot fight against Sukuna because she swore in Shibuya to never swing a sword again.
Kamo was also present at the meeting and apologized for not participating in the mission because he needed to watch over his family.
So Kamo left the country with his family for a safer location. Kusakabe says that those who are willing to die and those who can use RCT can fight. Yuji tries to comfort Kamo when he says he can’t be much help and can learn a lot from him.
Higurama says he will go to the battlefield after Kashimo and confiscate Sukuna’s CT with his own. If Sukuna receives the death penalty, he can fight using the Executioner’s Sword.
Kashimo intervenes in the middle and says he’s angry because everyone thought he was going to lose. Hakari says that’s just an assumption. Kusakabe asked if Higurama could sentence Sukuna to death.
Yuji replies that everything is in the Judge’s hands and that Higurama cannot do anything on his own. Maybe Sukuna will reveal the death penalty because Sukuna changed hosts three times and each time he killed many people.
Higurama then summarizes all of Sukuna’s crimes. After taking over Megumi’s body, Sukuna could be accused of harming and ultimately killing Megumi or stealing the corpse. This all depends on Megumi’s condition.
Higurama explains the sentencing: 1 murder is equivalent to 10-15 years in prison. 2 murders is equivalent to a life sentence or death penalty. Three or more murders can result in a direct death sentence.
Kusakabe said if normal trial rules were followed, Sukuna could have been sentenced to death. Unfortunately, in Higurama’s CT, the Judge only picks one crime and gives the punishment each time.
It is possible that Sukuna’s crimes from 1000 years ago may not have worked on the reincarnated Sukuna first. If Higurama thinks it’s impossible then so does his CT, the judge. But Higurama said he doesn’t know which of Sukuna’s CTs will be confiscated.
Yuji’s mind flickers and he says that there might be a way to get Sukuna the death penalty. The flashback ends and the focus shifts to the fight, where we see the Mei Mei crows perch near Sukuna, but they are instantly destroyed.
The fight begins and Higurama attacks with his giant hammer, destroying Sukuna’s stance.
Yuji chopped the fragments into smaller pieces and sent them flying towards Sukuna. Higurama tries to bind Sukuna’s weapon.
Yuji threw a heavy punch at Sukuna and made his whole body shake. Sukuna wondered what his new power was.
Higurama finally opens his domain against Sukuna. Yuji reveals that he and Higurama were able to use the trial when they both fought Sukuna.
The chapter ends with Higurama starting the trial of Yuji and Sukuna, where the Judge accuses Yuji of being a mob killer. Just before the end, Higurama protects Yuji.
With no break next week, Jujutsu Kaisen will return on December 3, 2023.
The much-awaited trial has begun and this could just be the end for Sukuna. You can read Jujutsu Kaisen on the Mangaplus app and Viz Media’s website!
