Summarize

In the previous chapter of The Dilettante, Hana and Eunseong had a pretty tense scene where Eunseong acted like a completely deranged possessed person and Hana was just trying to get away from him. Well, the bombs must have worked because the building collapsed on top of both of them.

They ran into an elevator that was closed so now they didn’t have enough oxygen either. It was definitely a life-threatening situation for them so Eunseong decided to talk about his past and told Hana the story of what happened to him and led him here.

Eunseong is an abandoned child who was taken in by his adoptive parents and they definitely love him. Sadly, misfortune seemed to follow Eunseong and his parents also passed away quite early. Of course, after losing the only people who cared about her, Eunseong was completely devastated.

He became involved in the drug trade, presumably to make money and support himself. He said that was when he met Muho Kang, the guy who completely changed his life. Eunseong plans to bury his life as Mujin Kang if everything goes well but Hana messes up all his plans.
