The ninth volume of Makoto Sanda and Isuo Tsukumo’s spin-off manga, “Ancient Magician’s Bride: Witch Blue,” which accompanied Kore Yamazaki’s original work, confirmed its conclusion with the tenth volume The upcoming is scheduled to release next March. The eighth volume, released in April, hinted at the manga’s approaching climax.
Seven Seas holds the rights to the manga and tells the story of an orphan boy named Blue who embarks on a magical journey under the guidance of skilled magician Gisele against the enchanting backdrop of Paris. For those intrigued by the gender-swapped perspective of “The Ancient Magus’ Bride,” this exquisitely illustrated manga offers a refreshing sense of wonder.

Sanda and Tsukumo began publishing the manga on the Manga Doa app in April 2019, with supervision from Yamazaki himself.
Yamazaki originally launched the core manga of “The Ancient Magus’Bride” in the pages of Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade magazine in 2013. After the magazine ceased publication in September 2014, the manga found a new home at Monthly Comic Garden, where it continues to run. The series boasts a circulation of more than 10 million copies.
In addition to publishing the main manga in English, Seven Seas Entertainment is also releasing many spin-off manga and supplementary material within the series.

Animated adaptations of the original series include “The Ancient Magus’Bride: Those Who Awaited a Star” OVA in 2017, the first television anime in 2017, three episodes of “The Ancient Magus’ Bride” modern – The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm” OAD from 2021 to 2022 and the second anime television season, which premiered on April 6 and recently premiered its second half on the 5th. October.
