The specially edited version of ONE PIECE: Fish-Man Island Saga has been delayed from its original October 27 premiere, and the first episode is now scheduled to release on November 3. Reasons was due to the live broadcast of the MLB World Series during its timeslot. The preview for Episode 1 has been released, with the first episode titled “New Beginnings! The Straw Hats reunite!”

The newly edited version will have the anime condensed into 21 episodes, with improved visuals and sound. It will air during the television anime's half-year hiatus, with the story continuing in April 2025 (or rather, on March 30, 2025).

Previously, the anime released ONE PIECE FAN Letter, a special episode directed by Megumi Ishitani. The film is an adaptation of Tomohito Ohsaki's spin-off novel One Piece The Straw Hat Stories and shows the perspectives of several characters who have no goal of acquiring the mysterious treasure left behind by Gol D. Roger.
ONE PIECE anime is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a number of projects and collaborations. Some of them are a Las Vegas takeover, a t-shirt collaboration with UNIQLO, a gaming chair collection with TTRacing, a special recap video, among many others.
There's also an upcoming remake from WIT Studio, as well as a second season of the live-action series, which recently revealed a first look at Chopper and Drum Island.
ONE PIECE Episode 1123 & Chapter 1131 Release date
Episode Chapter 1123 of the anime is scheduled to release on March 30, 2025. Manga ONE PIECE will release chapter 1131 on November 11 in Japan (November 10 depending on your region).
