The episode begins with Kisuke Urahara chatting with Visored and Yoruichi Shihouin’s sister about Ichigo and his friends going to the Imperial Palace.
Inside the Ichibē Hyōsube Imperial Palace, the True Name Monk and the Zero Squad readied themselves to fight against Yhwach and his Imperial Guard. Ichibē Hyōsube creates a seal called “Senri Tsutensho” that can blow away anything it attacks within a distance of 1,000 ri and uses it to hit Yhwach. Yhwach also lost his voice because of Ichibē. Ichibē hits Yhwach with another blast of “Senri Tsutensho”.
Yhwach gives himself a voice by controlling his vocal cords and uses “Sankt Bogen” to shoot an arrow through his body to prevent him from falling. Ichibē decides that he will kill Yhwach. Jugram Haschwalth attempted to destroy the Womb Prison but Kirio Hikifune, Ruler of the Grain, repaired the Womb Prison. Tenjirō Kiriji, the Hot Springs Demon, begins attacking Jugram Haschwalth and Uryū Ishida.
Uryū Ishida arrived before Senjumaru Shutara, the Great Guard, and began fighting her while Jugram Haschwalth was fighting against Tenjirō Kiriji. Ōetsu Nimaiya, the God of Swords finds himself trapped with the abilities of Stern Ritter “D: The Death Dealing”, who can accurately calculate the lethal dose of a specific substance and adjust the amount at will.
Death Dealing began to reduce the lethal dose of blood in Nimaiya’s body and Nimaiya fell to the ground. Uryū Ishida used “Lict Regen” against Senjumaru Shutara, but the attack was completely ineffective against her. On the other hand, Tenjirō Kiriji can also slash Jugram Haschwalth. Ōetsu Nimaiya slit his throat to reduce the lethal dose in his blood.
The Death Dealing explains that if Nimaiya lost a large amount of blood he would die anyway. Nimaiya calls Tenjirō for help because Red Hot Springs can replace lost blood with new blood. Ōetsu Nimaiya then slashes the Shinigami while Senjumaru Shutara also defeats Uryū Ishida with relative ease.

Atop the Imperial Palace, Ichibē Hyōsube and Yhwach were fighting hard. Ichibē explains that his brush cannot cut flesh. It cuts the name. Yhwach lost his arm because his arm arrow was just cut in half and all he had left was an “ar”. Thanks to that, the strength of Yhwach’s arm was preserved and so were its abilities. Ichibē then divided Yhwach’s name in two and named him “Yhw”.
Inside Seireitei, Giselle Gewelle was sucking the blood of Bambietta Basterbine when Liltotto Lamperd found her and updated her on the current situation.
Inside the Royal Palace, as Ichibē prepared to deliver the finishing blow to Yhwach (now known as Yhw), Yhwach began to utter something. He said “Feed them! Silver symbols, ash meadows, circular paths bathed in light. The agate eye, the golden tongue, the skull cup, the coffin of Adnyeus.” and activates his power called “Auswählen” to completely destroy the Womb Prison.
This power allows Yhwach to collect the lives and powers of unneeded Quincy and redistribute them to those who need them. Those who lose it, die. Those who receive it will gain strength and come to life again.
In the post-credits scene of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Volume 25, we see Shunsui Kyōraku meeting with Captain Jūshirō Ukitake. They are discussing that Squad Zero allowed Yhwach to invade the Royal Palace and “The Kamikake” predicted it. We then see a giant shadow with outstretched arms and an eye emerge from Captain Jūshirō Ukitake.

All the Quences who received power from “Auswählen” revealed their wings and Yhwach determined that he would take the Soul King’s life. Lille Barro, one of Yhwach’s Imperial Guards then shot Ōetsu Nimaiya, leaving a hole in his shoulder. He then fired another shot. Kirio Hikifune and Tenjirō Kiriji tried to protect Ōetsu Nimaiya but were unable to do so.
Lille Barro’s strength is called the “X axis”. There were no bullets in his attack. It evenly penetrated everything between his muzzle and the target. Senjumaru Shutara then heals Ōetsu Nimaiya.
Kirio Hikifune builds another Womb Prison and everyone starts fighting again. Senjumaru Shutara is fighting Gerard Valkyrie. Kirio Hikifune is fighting Pernida Parnkgjas. Tenjiro Kiriji is fighting Askin Nakk Le Vaar. Ōetsu Nimaiya vs Lille Barro. While Ichibē Hyōsube was fighting Yhwach.
Ichibē Hyōsube uses “Hyapporankan” against Yhwach and Yhwach defends himself with “Blut Vene Aufheben”. Ichibē Hyōsube then used “Hado Secret No. 3: Teppusatsu” to destroy Yhwach’s defenses and then grabbed Yhwach’s neck.
Yhwach tries to take over Ichibē but fails. Ichibē then activates his Shikai by saying “Ichimonji black paint” and Yhwach cannot tell whether he is seeing a blade or a brush. Yhwach begins fighting Ichibē with his sword.
Yhwach claims that he can restore the name and power that Ichibē cut in half through the use of his own power. But then Yhwach forgets the name of his own sword because Yhwach’s sword now has no name. Anything Ichimonji draws on loses its name. That which has no name has no power and now yhwach’s sword and cross have no names either.
The other members of Squad Zero are having a hard time against the Quincies and their newfound powers. This time the Royal Guard quickly defeated the members of Squad Zero. Yhwach also stole Ichibē’s power with the power called “Sankt Altar” and Ichibē’s hair changed from Black to White. Yhwach then struck Ichibē with that power.
It seems that the entire Zero Squad is being defeated by Yhwach and his Royal Guard. Ōetsu Nimaiya tells Senjumaru Shutara that she will be the one to kill all those Quincy. Afterwards, everyone from Squad Zero except Senjumaru Shutara committed suicide.
Senjumaru Shutara explains that using just the slightest of their power can cause heaven and earth in the three worlds to tremble. Because of that, the four of them linked their lives together to seal their true swords and now, in exchange for their three lives, the blood oath seal was broken. Senjumaru Shutara then activated his Bankai “Shatatsu Karagara Shigaraminotsuji” and the whole world began to shake.

Senjumaru defeats Uryū Ishida by saying “Clear the six knots, Star of the night. Absorbed by its abyss and led to the afterlife” Uryū Ishida was defeated when lost in the abyss.
Senjumaru then uses “Shidenorokushikiukimonnohata” to perfect his Bankai and trap all of the Quincy inside.
Yhwach’s attack also does not affect Ichibē Hyōsube. Ichibē explains that his power is”Black”. After he freed the Ichimonji Shinigami, the Quincies, the dead and the living, All the “Black” in this world became Ichibē’s. Then me
chibē used his Ichimonji on Yhwach and Yhwach lost his name as well as all the powers that came with it. Ichibē then uses his Bankai “Shinuchi Shirafude Ichimonji” to be able to engrave a new name on anything drawn by Ichimonji. Ichibē then gave the name “Black Ant” to Yhwach and threw him down from the Royal Palace by crushing Yhwach under his feet and then between his hands.
With this, the finale of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Court 2 ended with Squad Zero’s victory over Yhwach and his Royal Guard.
