Hayakawa Publishing is celebrating its 79th anniversary with the launch of HayaComi, a new manga service that will host exclusive manga adaptations of popular works by authors such as Agatha Christie, Stanislaw Lem, and Touma Osaka.
According to a post on MangaMoguraRE's X, popular novels like Agatha Christie's mystery series And Then There Were None and Stanisław Lem's best-selling science fiction series Solaris will be adapted into manga and will be available on the new manga service HayaComi from July 23, 2024.
According to Hayakawa Publishing's official press release, each of these manga series will be released worldwide, with the aim of “creating a platform for readers who want to read the world's masterpieces and artists who want to share their manga with the world.”

Agatha Christie's And There Were None will be adapted by Aya Nikaido. Meanwhile, Lem's Solaris will be adapted by Tekaehito Moriizumi, the mangaka behind masterpieces like Yoru Yoru Soba Ni and Ringwanderung. In addition to these two works, HayaComi will also adapt Touma Osaka's award-winning novel Comrade Girls, Shoot the Enemy, which will be adapted into a manga by Yuhki Kamatani, the author of Our Dreams at Dusk.
According to the press release, other existing manga adaptations include Agatha Christie's Poirot series, Keanu Reaves' BRZRKR, and works by Natsuji Miyazaki and Yosuke Takahashi, among others. HayaComi also plans to upload a re-edited version of Isaac Asimov's The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire series, making this upcoming manga portal a notable one, especially for sci-fi manga lovers.
