Ya Boy Kongming announced a compilation film for the anime series. The film is scheduled to open on March 1, 2024 in Japan. It will include all 12 episodes of the anime and is titled Ya Boy Kongming! Road to Summer Sonia. The teaser trailer for the movie Ya Boy Kongming was also released.

The television anime Ya Boy Kongming aired in April 2023. It was directed by Shu Honma and composed by Genki Hikota. The opening theme song titled “Chiki Chiki Bam Bam” was performed by Special Unit QUEENDOM, while 96Neko performed the ending theme song, “Kibun Jojo”. The film was animated by Studio PA Works and is available to stream on HiDIVE.
