Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 11 Review: Episode 11 depicts how Will finally manages to get others to accept him for who he really is. Let's see how it all plays out.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 10 Summary
This episode delves deeper into the lives of the top students, who are often seen as having it all. The top four at Rigarden Academy, destined to graduate with the highest grades, seem to have nothing to worry about, but is their success really enough for them? Both Wignall and Lihanna share their perspectives, revealing that their paths have not been as smooth as they had hoped.
Through their conversation, we learn that in their family, true genius was measured by exceptional talent that was evident at a young age. For example, Elfaria, who was allowed to climb the tower in her first year, was hailed as a prodigy. As a result, achieving high grades in school meant little to many of those in higher positions. This explains why, despite being respected by their peers, Wignall and Lihanna were considered disappointments in their families.
Here we also discover the similarities between Wignall and Will, especially in their ambitions. Both seek to climb the tower, not for personal gain, but to reunite with the important people in their lives—Will with his lover and Wignall with his adopted sister. Their shared goal fosters mutual respect and a deeper understanding between them.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 11 Review And Recap
In this episode, we see one of the biggest and most terrifying battles where the main characters almost succumb to a horrible fate. Before, the new villains who arrived before Colette and Lihanna wasted no time in attacking them with the intention of killing them. Thankfully, before any damage could be done, Will and the others joined Lihanna and Colette, saving them. However, the attackers did not leave before they unleashed a terrifying monster, the Duke, on our heroes.
It was a monster worth 270 credits, and that alone showed how formidable their new target was. From the very beginning, everyone in the group realized how outmatched they were against this monster. They didn’t hold out any hope of defeating the beast, but simply ran away from the scenario. Wignall tried to act as a decoy to give his friends time to escape, but Will saved him. This was where they were made to realize the terrifying truth, the fact that there was nowhere left to run.
The teacher cannot reach this level because there are too many monsters here, Will and the others cannot escape because the monster is actively pursuing them. This is where Will comes up with his reckless and extremely dangerous plan. But surprisingly, Wignall is the first to agree to it. He comes forward, declaring Will as his friend and placing his trust in him without a second doubt. Not only him but Colette and Shion also agree to follow Will. Lihanna goes as far as to agree to make Will their leader, while Julius is still not convinced of Will's talent.
However, they have no choice but to put their full trust in Will and his leadership since he is the most experienced person in the dungeon. What follows is a tense and beautifully animated battle that you should watch.
Verdict
Today's episode is once again a visual masterpiece, as the animation is consistently good. While the plot may not have too much complexity, it still manages to deliver a cohesive plot that is interesting enough.
