The cast of the Wind Breaker anime continues to grow and debut Yuichi Nakamura as the voice of Hajime Umemiya in the series’ fourth character introduction. Nakamura ranked fifth in Anime Corner’s most recent Summer 2023 Seiyuu Rankings and continues to voice some of the most iconic characters in anime. Fairy Tail’s Gray, The Irregular at Magic High School’s Tatsuya Shiba, My Hero AcadeKaren’s Hawks, and Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gojo are just some of the roles to his name. The news was announced via the official Wind Breaker (formerly Twitter), which will continue to debut new characters and casting every day by introducing them in stylish trailers . Currently, the Wind Breaker anime cast includes main character Haruka Sakura, revealed to be voiced by Yuma Uchida (Reo, Blue Lock), followed by Kyotaro Sugishita (Koki Uchiyama, Shigaraki in My Hero AcadeKaren). and Hayate Suo (Nobunaga Shimazaki, Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen).
The anime is based on Satoru Nii’s Wind Breaker, which debuted in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket in 2021 and has been collected into 13 volumes as of August 2023. The manga is among the works that Anime Japan 2022 wishes to adapt could become an anime. Although there has been no further animation on the cast and crew since the anime was announced with teaser images in March, a ‘special program’ will reveal more information on March 22. 10. Studio CloverWorks will produce animation for the series. Printing of Wind Breaker by North American manga licensor, Kodansha USA, is also scheduled to launch this fall.
