The One Piece anime is currently reaching the conclusion of the epic Wano Country Saga. The fight between Luffy and Kaido has ended. Now, Wano finally has a trustworthy Shogun, Kozuki Momonosuke. After twenty years of suffering, Wano will be led by its rightful leader.
The narrator explains that Momo will become one of the best leaders in Wano despite ascending the throne at such a young age. With the Kozuki clan restored and the heir claiming his rightful title, all that’s left to do is celebrate the victory before the Straw Hats depart for another adventure.
However, the troubles in Wano are not over yet as another threat is heading towards Wano. The anime will soon move on to the Final Saga. However, One Piece Episode 1079 was delayed due to the recent episode not showing a preview. Let’s dig deeper to find out why.
Why was One Piece Episode 1079 delayed
One Piece Episode 1079 will officially air on October 15. Although there has been no official announcement, the delay is due to the studio. Since there’s a recap episode airing next week, that means there are no other shows lined up for that time slot.
On October 8, the recap episode from Bartolomeo’s POV will air. Here’s a look at the preview:
The summary episode is titled: “Luffy-senpai Support Project! Barto’s secret room number 4!” It will tell the story of the fight between Gear 5 Luffy and Kaido with Bartolomew’s narration. One Piece Episode 1079 is titled “Morning Comes! Luffy and everyone please relax!”
It will adapt chapter 1052 from the manga, about the celebration party held by the Kozuki Family. The Gorosei will also appear, expressing their worries about Wano remaining isolated from the world. Additionally, all the pirates and Samurai who fought against Kaido and his crew are nearly healed.
Peace in Wano is restored and the children are learning the true history of the Kozuki Clan, not the clan created by Orochi. In addition, Scratchmen Apoo also brings new bonuses to Luffy, Law and Kid. However, the upcoming episode will not reveal that. The episode will end with new enemies heading towards Wano.
