The Saiyan race of the popular anime and manga series Dragon Ball are warriors who are better at physical combat than thinking with their heads. They have a short temper and pride, love to practice, fight and are not very interested in love.
Goku and Vegeta, for example, have lives centered around fighting. Other Saiyans like Broly, Goten, and Trunks are no different. Only Gohan is different, he is more intelligent, although he still makes some silly mistakes from time to time.
However, having little use of the brain does not mean that Saiyans are completely brainless. The Saiyans are said to have high intelligence, but only in battle. They can easily learn martial arts moves even by looking at them once. As well as demonstrating the ability to analyze and come up with strategies to defeat the opponent.
Goku: The Saiyan Intelligence Template
Goku grew up alone in the forest, so his education is limited. Even after stepping out into the world, this hasn’t improved.
In contrast, his fighting skills are almost unmatched, making him one of the strongest warriors in the world.
Vegeta: A Master Strategist
Vegeta is much more cunning than Goku. He is very good at planning, as evidenced in his quest for the Dragon Balls. The strategic mind of the Saiyan prince is also evident when on planet NameK.
When fighting, Vegeta is uncompromising, has no compassion for people, but is very gentlemanly, ready to fight the enemy in the strongest state. Vegeta later, when he settled on earth, changed his mind, loved peace more, and cared about his wife and children.
Gohan: The Smartest Saiyan
The most intelligent Saiyan is Gohan. He is the first hybrid between a Saiyan and an Earthling. In terms of education, if Goku’s father did not have the concept of “learning”, then Gohan was forced to study a lot by Chi Chi, so he later became a doctor. Due to his formal education, Gohan is the only Saiyan with a stable job.
However, because Gohan has the wisdom of an Earthling, shy and studious, it lacks the fighting spirit of the Saiyans. For some time, Gohan gave up his martial arts training and spent all his mental time becoming a scholar. After many events, he realized he had to be stronger to protect everyone, so he returned to training with Mr. Piccolo.
