VTuber agent of Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. PRISM project announced that they will cease operations on March 31.
All 18 talents currently under management will become independent as of April 1. VTubers will keep their current names, personalities and social media accounts, and the company is committed to handing over the rights character for each talented individual.
PRISM Project VTubers will share their future plans in early March through livestreams on YouTube and other social media accounts.
Events and releases scheduled for March will continue as scheduled, with all merchandise orders placed before March 31 being fulfilled.
PRISM Projects requests that fans do not send questions directly to the talents but instead through the company’s official channel, [email protected].
The VTuber company was originally founded in January 2021, before moving to Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. in May 2022.

In 2023, Project PRISM launched three new generations of VTuber talent, ending with the 7th Generation in June 2023.
Current PRISM Project talents, who are currently expected to become independent VTubers, include: Iku Hoshifuri, Aoi Tokimori, Meno Ibuki, Rita Kamishiro, Luto Araka, Shiki Miyoshino, Nia Suzune, Yura Rikudou, Pina Pengin, Naki Kamizuki, Sara Nagare, Non Anon, Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame, Jun Akane, Mako Sameshima, Nana Asteria and Emma Oumiya.
