The second season of the new Urusei Yatsura anime will begin airing in January 2024. A key visual has been released along with the announcement.
The first season of Urusei Yatsura premiered in October 2022 and is 23 episodes long. The anime adaptation of a selection of Rumiko Takahashi’s 1978 manga will have a total of four courses.
The manga was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday and ran until 1987. Viz Media describes the plot as:

Urusei Yatsura previously inspired an anime series in the 80s, which was followed by numerous films and OVAs. Prior to the 2022 series, the most recent Urusei Yatsura anime was an OVA released in 2010.
