Under Ninja Anime Reveals Main Trailer and New Visual, October 5 Release Date

Anime Under Ninja has revealed its October 5 release date, along with the main trailer and new visuals. Tezuka Productions is producing the animation under the direction of Satoshi Kuwabara. The new trailer also features the opening song “Hyper” by Kroi.

The cast for the anime includes Taito Ban as Kuro Kumogakure, Tarusuke Shingaki as Kato, Tasuku Hatanaka as Miracle Hibi, Atsumi Tanezaki as Suzuki, Daiki Yamashita as Shion Hachiya, Chika Anzai as Kawado, Cho as Ono , Shuichi Uchida as Eita, and Sora Tokui as Noguchi.

Keiichiro Oochi is writing the series, Nobutero Yuuki is designing the characters, and Reina Iwasaki and Akio Ujiie are both animation directors. Pony Canyon will be responsible for the music. Other employees include:

Anime Under the Ninja is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Kengo Hanazawa. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine since July 2018. Denpa has licensed the manga in English, describing the first volume as:
After World War II, Allied Command in Japan developed a new agency to help manage terrorism and violence within the Pacific region. The agency is staffed by ninja and they were initially tasked with dealing with domestic affairs. Eventually, that program evolved into its current form, managing 20,000 ninjas in a wide range of domestic and international affairs. One of those ninjas is Kudo. The losing seventeen-year-old high school student is now poised to become the next line of defense against a potential wave of foreign assassins invading Tokyo.
