During the Aniplex Online Fest stream earlier this week, Aniplex revealed the first new official Japanese PV trailer for bilibili's To Be Hero X donghua anime series, which confirmed the main cast, staff, and 2025 premiere date.
The series is scheduled to air in Japan on Fuji TV. Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide except Asia.

The Japanese voice cast for To Be Hero X includes:
• Mamoru Miyano as X • Natsuki Hanae as Nice • Nobunaga Shimazaki as E-Soul • Koichi Yamadera as Ahu • Inori Minase as Lucky Cyan • Ayane Sakura as Loli • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Little Johnny • Yuichi Nakamura as Ghostblade • Koki Uchiyama as Dragon Boy • Kana Hanazawa as Queen
Li Haolin is credited as the original author and is directing the series, in collaboration with bilibili and Aniplex. Hiroyuki Sawano is composing the show's main theme “Danger”. Sawano, Kohta Yamamoto, Kenmochi Hidefumi, DAIKI (AWSM.), Shuhei Mutsuki, Hideyuki Fukasawa, Misaki Umase, and Ryūichi Takada (monaca) are all credited as composers. BeDream is handling animation production for the series.

The original To Be Hero donghua series aired in Japan for 12 episodes from October to December 2016, with Studio LAN handling animation production. Crunchyroll also streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and each episode is 11 minutes long. A sequel series, To Be Heroine, aired in May 2018, with Studio LAN and Haoliners Animation League handling animation production. Haolin previously directed both series.
