An April 2024 release date for the upcoming Wind Breaker anime adaptation has been announced. An image trailer and teaser introducing the main cast were also released.

Wind Breaker is based on the crime-themed comic book series by Satoru Niihas been serialized in Magazine Pocket since 2021 and has 13 tankoubon volumes published under the Kodansha Comics label as of August 2023. Kodansha USA describes the manga’s plot as:
Haruka Sakura wants nothing to do with the weak—he only cares about the strongest of the strong. He comes from Fuurin High School, a school for degenerate students about to drop out known only for their fighting prowess. And in a town known for its territorial disputes, Haruka has only one goal—to become the hero his town deserves.
CloverWorks is producing an anime series whose main cast includes Yuuma Uchida as Haruka Sakura, Kouki Uchiyama as Kyoutaro Sugishita, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hayato Suo, Yuuichi Nakamura as Hajime Umemiya and Ryouta Suzuki as Touma Hiragi and Shouya Chiba as Akihiko Nirei. The program’s staff has not yet been announced.
