The animated film The Tunnel to Summer, The Exit of Goodbyes will begin premiering in US theaters this November.
As detailed on Crunchyroll, Studio CLAP’s animated drama will hit US theaters on November 3. New York Comic Con 2023 will also host the world premiere of the English-language version of the film, as well as a special panel featuring the voice cast, in Room 405 of the Javitz Convention Center on October 12. Studio Clap’s animated film is based on the original novel of the same name. Written by Mei Hachimoku and illustrated by Kukka, the story revolves around the mysterious Urashima Tunnel. One day, a boy named Kaoru Tono stumbles into this tunnel and considers checking out the rumors, hoping to somehow reunite with his older sister who died in a tragic accident. last year. Tomohisa Taguchi, who is known for Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War, wrote and directed The Tunnel of Summer, The Exit of Goodbyes. Tomomi Yabuki (Puzzles and Dragons X) serves as Character Designer and Animation Director while Yuuki Hatakeyama (Chaos; Child) serves as Art Direction. Harumi Fuuki (Forest of Piano) composed the music for the film. In the Japanese version, Oji Suzuka (live-action Kimi Ni Todoke series) and Marie Iitoyo (Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King) play Kaoru Tono and Anzu Hanashiro, respectively.
