What are The Quintessential Quintuplets?
Serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020, Negi Haruba's The Quintessential Quintuplets is one of the most beloved harems of the past decade. The manga includes 14 volumes. Kodansha USA publishes the work in English. The franchise includes two anime television seasons, a film, several OVAs, games, and a novel adaptation.
The Quintessential Quintuplets revolves around the Nanako sisters, five girls whose beauty is matched only by the emptiness in their minds—an emptiness of considerable magnitude. Worried about his daughter's future, their father asks for the help of Futaro Uesugi, an intelligent and capable tutor. However, this task proved more difficult than expected. Futaro's first interaction with either sister is less than ideal and she holds a grudge against him. With her own future and that of her family at stake, Futaro persists in her efforts to help the girls pass their upcoming exams. From that complicated situation, love arose.
