Kadokawa has revealed the main cast, staff, and April 2025 premiere for Yūichi Hiiragi!'s Please Put Them On, Takamine-san! (Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san) on Wednesday. Kadokawa also began streaming the anime's teaser promotional video in two versions:

The anime begins a campaign to release new illustrations of main character Takane Takamine every month:

The film stars Yuryka Kubo as Takane Takamine and Daisuke Kasuya as Koushi Hirota.
Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, Kotaro Lives Alone) will direct the anime at LIDEN FILMS, and Yū Satō (Space Battleship Tiramisu, Space Battleship Tiramisu Zwei) will supervise and write the series' scripts. Ryō Yamauchi (animation director for Vinland Saga) and Maya Itō (animation director for Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc) serve as character designers and animation director Takeshi Nakatsuka (Brothers Confrict, My Dress-Up Darling) composed the music and Akane Maeda (Red Cat Ramen, Kaginado) was the sound director.

Yen Press is releasing the manga in English and describes the story:

Hiiragi launched the manga in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine in January 2019. Square Enix published the manga's ninth compilation volume on August 21.
Hiiragi launched Homura Kawamoto's spin-off Kakegurui Midari manga and Tōru Naomura's Kakegurui-Compulsive Gambling Manga on Square Enix's Manga UP! application in February 2017 and ends in 2020.
