Summary
Law’s epic battle against Blackbeard has been revealed to appear in the upcoming episode #1093 of One Piece. The war is expected to last longer than what is shown in the manga chapter and is built by very talented animators. The additional episode of Law’s backstory gave the anime team more time to prepare for his biggest fight yet, building anticipation among fans.
A pieceEgghead’s Island arc is filled with incredible battles, but the anime has already begun Trafalgar Law fans with a bonus episode before his best fight yet. Law has become a fan-favorite character with his incredible design and serious personality, often clashing (hilariously) with Luffy during some of their arcs together. Now that they’ve broken up, Law and his teammates are about to have their hands full when Blackbeard and his teammates ambush them with some of the most powerful Devil Fruit powers in the series.
As the new Egghead One Piece anime trailer reveals, Law will fight Blackbeard, and it happens sooner than those who only watch the anime might suspect. Unfortunately, a bonus episode summarizing Law’s contributions to the story was sandwiched between episode #1092’s protagonist and Blackbeard and the expected battle in #1093. However, the supplement provided an epic preview shared by the official One Piece YouTube channel.
The trailer for One Piece episode #1093 highlights some of the tense moments the film adaptation is preparing to deliver. Moments like Law’s shocking transformation, Blackbeard and his teammates’ attack, and more appear in the preview. However, a post on X by revolutionary One Piece animator/director Henry Thurlow has helped build anticipation that the fight between Blackbeard and Law will be something special for those anime fans.

Blackbeard the Pirate is about to get even scarier
Thurlow’s talents have previously adapted Big Mom’s incredible fight against Law and Kid as well as several other cinematic action scenes throughout the Wano arc. The animator’s post said he contributed heavily to the upcoming episode that showcases the clash of several powerful Devil Fruit users. Other talented artists like Katsumi Ishizuka will also help bring episode #1093 to life, meaning The war between Law and Blackbeard may last a long time beyond what is shown in One Piece manga chapter #1063.
The end of episode #1092 showed Blackbeard’s fearsome ship approaching and preparing to attack Law’s crew, and the following episode did not continue the encounter as viewers expected. Instead, viewers are given a history lesson with the topic being the Trafalgar Laws. The filler episode includes his introduction to the series, the tragic story of his past involving Doflamingo, and his impressive contributions during the Wano period that proved important in bringing down Big Mom pedestal. However, with the news that episode #1093 is getting help from some of anime’s best animatorsworth the wait.

Law and his crew will finally have their time to shine
The preview for episode #1092 showed warning signs that the following episode would be a filler episode about Law. Spending an entire episode giving a character backstory usually implies something important will happen to them. Given how well the anime adapted the most epic moments of the Wano arc, many people are excited to see if the anime fights for Law and Blackbeard’s justice.
