The official website for the new sequel television series of the anime Abnormal High School in Magic began posting a character promo video for Miyuki Shiba, voiced by Saori Hayami, on Sunday.

To celebrate the third season, the anime will hold the “Magic High School Entrance Exam” on a special website from March 1 to 15. The website will launch on February 12 at 6 p.m. . JST (4:00 a.m. EST) with practice workbooks for the exam. Also on the same day, Animate GAMERS main branch in Tokyo and Animate Osaka Nipponbashi store will hand out exercise books. Those who take the exam and share the results can draw lots to make a student identification card.

Hayami is a returning cast member from previous seasons of the anime. Other returning cast members are:
New cast members this season include Kikunosuke Toya as Minoru Kudou, Tatsumaru Tachibana as Takuma Shippou, and Houchu Ohtsuka will play Retsu Kudō. He replaces Motomu Kiyokawa, who passed away in 2022.
The new season of the anime will premiere in April on Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, MBS and TV Aichi channels.
Jimmy Stone, animation director and episode director of previous anime projects in the series, is the director of the new series at returning studio 8-Bit. Taku Iwasaki (Black Butler, Bungo Stray Dogs, Gurren Lagann) will return to compose music. LiSA will perform the opening theme song “Shouted Serenade”.

Tsutomu Satou’s unusual magical high school light novel series (Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei) debuted in 2008, and ended with its 32nd volume in September 2020. The two sequels were published in October 2020 and January 2021.
Yen Press publishes the original light novel series Irregularities at Magic High School and Yu Mori’s The Honor School at Magic High School Spinoff Manga.
The unusual magical high school anime television series premiered in April 2014 and aired for 26 episodes. The second season, titled The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc, premiered in October 2020 and ran for 13 episodes. The anime franchise also includes the film Anomaly at Magic High School The Movie: The Girl Who Summons the Stars, which opened in Japan in June 2017.
The Honor School at Magic High School manga series inspired by the 13-episode anime television series premiered on July 3, 2021.
