Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the best manga series published. Both the manga and anime versions captivated fans with Gege Akutami’s ingenious storyline about necromancers and cursed souls. Satoru Gojo, the world’s strongest magician, is a notable character and has a large fan base.
Unfortunately, with his infinite strength and abilities, Gojo cannot defeat Curse King Sukuna. Gojo’s shocking ending left many manga fans confused, and raised many different theories.
The theory that Gojo’s death may have been part of a clever hoax has surfaced on Twitter, suggesting that Gojo’s defeat may have been part of an elaborate plan.
In the battle between Gojo and Sukuna, Gojo had the upper hand over Sukuna most of the time. However, in a surprising twist, Sukuna channeled his curse’s energy into a powerful attack, resulting in Gojo’s body being cut in half. This is the heaviest defeat of the world’s strongest spellcaster.
The hypothesis is that:
“Gojo’s failure may have been part of his plan:
1. Gojo was ‘defeated’ in battle.
2. Sukuna was caught off guard.
3. Yuji and Higuruma join the fight”.
According to theory, Gojo lost on purpose to surprise Sukuna. Sukuna’s growing arrogance after defeating Satoru Gojo may have been part of a clever plan by his sensei and the other spellcasters to catch Sukuna off guard.
In the most recent chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji Itadori and Hiromi Higuruma entered the battlefield with the intention of confronting the King of Curse. With his abilities, Higuruma may hold the key to defeating Sukuna. By tIn Higuruma’s domain, all acts of violence are forbidden and he acts as the lawyer and the Shikigami as the judge.
This makes the opponent guilty of the territory and Higuruma will use his forensic skills to prove the opponent’s guilt to the Shikigami. If guilt is proven, the Shikigami will remove all of the culprit’s cursed energy, allowing Higuruma to easily defeat him.
Gojo may have planned to exploit this power from Higuruma’s domain to render Sukuna powerless within the domain. On the other hand, if Yuji finally awakens his Curse Spell, it could be the key to saving Megumi. It is theorized that Yuji’s cursed technique will allow him to control his will and increase his cursed energy by eating a portion of his soul.
If the above fan theory is correct, it would be a fascinating way to build on the story of Jujutsu Kaisen, which is already in its final stages. Furthermore, if Gojo had planned this in advance, he might even be alive.
