The ongoing Date A Live V anime series has received a third trailer, titled SIDE: Mio Takamiya.
The new season began airing on April 10 and is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Date A Live is an adaptation of the light novel Fujimi Fantasia Bunko by Koshi Tachibana Written and illustrated by Tsunako. Previous seasons premiered in 2013, 2014, 2019 and 2022. The first three seasons were directed by Keitaro Motonaga directed at AIC PLUS+ (Part 1), IMS production (Part 2) and JCSTAFF (Part 3). There is also a 2015 Date A Live anime film and a 2020 two-part OVA adaptation of the Date A Bullet spin-off.
The light novel series began in 2011 and currently includes spin-offs and short story collections in addition to the main entries. As of 2022, there are 22 main volumes and 11 anthologies. Yen Press describes the first volume as:
April 10. First day of school. Shido Itsuka was rudely awakened by his personal alarm clock—his sister. It's shaping up to be another typical day…well, as typical as it gets on a planet plagued by massive space quakes. However, Shido has no idea that his life is about to take an unexpected turn when he encounters the source of this destructive phenomenon—a girl the same age as him, apparently known as the Spirit. . As it turns out, there are only two ways he can stop her from unleashing hell on the world: Remove her by force or appease her… by taking her out on a date and making her fall in love with him!
The Date A Live franchise also includes various comic books and video games.
