It may take a little convincing Naruto fans accept that some of its additional episodes actually improve the series. To be fair, the anime has seven hundred episodes – with almost half of them being filler – and it’s hard to differentiate between the good and the bad. However, there are plenty of reasons not to skip Naruto’s spin-offs.
Whether leaning towards comedy or drama, Naruto’s filler episodes give its huge cast of characters time to shine, something the core story sometimes struggles with. The shinobi world is equally vast, and some of these filler episodes use the world to its advantage and expand on it in interesting and insightful ways.
10 Must See! Must Know! The true face of Kakashi-sensei!
There are many questions surrounding Hatake Kakashi throughout Naruto, with one of the biggest being why he wears his ubiquitous mask. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are just as curious as the fans, which is the plot of “Must See! Must know! The true face of Kakashi-sensei!” is all about the determined Trio stalking Kakashi for a day, waiting for the inevitable moments when he has to take it off, only to be defeated at every opportunity.
The bottom line is that behind Kakashi’s mask is another mask that is just the beginning. The real payoff for this episode’s joke comes several years later in real life, in the Shippuden episode “Special Mission,” in which Kakashi finally takes off both masks to reveal his true face. surprisingly normal.
9 Kiba’s long days!
Akamaru and the rest of the Inuzuka clan hold the blue ribbon for best animal companions in Naruto. “Kiba’s Long Day” is a way to develop the relationship between the Inuzuka clan and their loyal companions and give much needed character development to one of Naruto’s best supporting characters. When sick Akamaru becomes violent, Kiba is willing to do anything to help him.
Kiba is more distraught than his friends or the audience has ever seen at the prospect of Akamaru possibly being deposed. He tries to break him out of Anbu containment, fights both Naruto and his sister to protect him, and risks his life to treat his dog with a method. treatment is fraught with risks. Meanwhile, Akamaru fights against the disease to avoid killing Kiba – proving that his love for his best friend is stronger than any disease.
8 Shino laughed
At first glance, Naruto and Shino being hired as bodyguards might not seem like a fun concept. A rich heir will lose his inheritance if he laughs at his father’s funeral, so the famously stoic Shino decides to impersonate him. However, when relatives next to him poisoned Shino, causing Shino to laugh uncontrollably, Naruto had to step in and replace his friend.
While he doesn’t have to suffer as much as Tenten, Shino doesn’t get as much attention as the rest of the Konoha 12 members. However, in this episode, he shows that he’s more than willing to do anything. what to complete the mission but also that he is not as cold and emotionless as everyone thinks. The only thing funnier than Shino making a scene of his own to help Naruto was him flat out swearing that Naruto would keep it a secret afterward.
Arc 7 Tea Regions
Right in the first episode, Naruto and Iruka were lucky enough to escape Mizuki’s manipulation stronger than before. Naruto could easily have ended up like Idate Morino: tricked by teacher Aoi into betraying the village as a child and running away from home forever out of shame. But Idate can’t run forever: the Team 7 assassin protecting him is Aoi.
This small section is notable because there are many conflicts that conflict with each other. From the high-stakes race, Naruto helping Idate regain his sense of self-worth, to the battles with Aoi, it remains entertaining throughout. Aoi’s initial defeat of Team 7 also added fuel to the fire of Sasuke’s insecurity, being one of the failures he recalled before deciding to defect.
6 Animal area
In conversations about the funniest Naruto episodes, the ostrich from “Animal Zone” inevitably comes up. Appearing in many episodes, Condor is a hot-tempered bird determined to cause trouble for every shinobi in his way. After all, he is Naruto’s most powerful and underrated opponent – in his own mind.
His first appearance, “Naruto’s School of Vengeance,” introduces him as a troubled fugitive who disses people who upset him. Heartbroken by his defeat against Naruto, Condor develops rapidly, learns to speak, becomes proficient in ninjutsu, and becomes the leader of the Four Ninja Animal Warriors in his next appearance. Even though he was beaten again, he still did not give up his dream of defeating Naruto.
5 Burn, Byakugan! This is my Ninja way!
Although Hinata’s journey is underrated compared to other characters, the change she undergoes from the original Naruto to the end of Shippuden is extremely important. This is much more obvious later on, but the seeds of her evolution are shown as early as “Blaze Away, Byakugan! This Is My Ninja Way!”. When Naruto was planning to find a way to track down Sasuke, Hinata and other friends stood by his side.
For many years, Hinata has admired Naruto for his determination to succeed even when faced with many difficulties. Here, she shows how hard she worked to become stronger after the Chuunin Exams, using the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms technique to save her friends. Even though Naruto’s mission failed, Hinata still succeeded in making the people she loved begin to see her differently.
4 Kakashi: The shadow of the Anbu black army
This thirteen-episode season is considered by many fans to be so good, it deserves a place in the canon. The episode depicts Kakashi’s life when he was a member of Anbu, the special assassination and tactics team of Konoha. Viewers not only watch his struggles but also get a glimpse into the youth of other iconic characters.
Kakashi was unable to protect those he cared about, losing Minato and Kushina to the Nine-Tails’ attack and believing he could not stop Itachi from going rogue. However, viewers also see how he tries his best to protect others, such as both stopping a young Yamato from killing Hiruzen and allowing Yamato to escape unharmed in the belief that it would help for the village. Even his habit of defeating potential genin teams is in hopes of protecting them from his own team’s fate.
3 bloody confrontations! Students vs. Sensei!
One of the best teachers in Naruto is the indomitable Might Gai, leader of Team Gai, with a particular focus on fellow taijutsu expert Rock Lee. Gai has complete faith in Lee’s ability to become a great shinobi despite his lack of ninjutsu or genjutsu, and Lee idolizes Gai with every fiber of his being. This episode not only emphasizes their relationship but also their strength.
When Gai and Lee were trapped in a genjutsu that made them see each other as enemies, they were not fooled. They use techniques that are symbolic of their teacher-student path to get out of the technique without harming the other person. Then, instead of harming the attackers, Gai used the opportunity to give them a lesson on how to become more respectable shinobi, much like how he imparted his philosophy to his students.
Naruto’s 2 favorite students
Naruto’s greatest ambition is to become the leader of his village, someone who everyone admires. One of the first people to consider him a role model was Konohamaru, the young grandson of the Third Hokage. During his first appearance, Naruto impressed him enough that he began to mature and seriously work towards his goal of becoming Hokage.
In this episode of Shippuden, even though Naruto is not actually present, the older Konohamaru is still trying his best to live up to the philosophy of WWND (“What would Naruto do?”). After Pain destroyed Konoha, he was anxious to have something important to help restore his home, only to be reminded that his dedication to protecting it was important. His flawless performance of the Rasengan shows how far he has come in his journey to becoming a shinobi.
1 The appearance of the Three-Tails Arc
These episodes are praised for having one of the best villains in Naruto. Guren was one of Orochimaru’s followers, loyal to the point of being devastated to the point of being unable to serve as his master’s next host body. She entertains herself by watching over Yuukimaru, who is expected to be used in Orochimaru’s experiments, but things do not go as she expected.
Yuukimaru’s kind and gentle nature soothes Guren’s icy heart, and she realizes that she cannot allow him to harm him after all. Her powerful and destructive Crystal Style makes her a deadly weapon, but she instead finds a new purpose as Yuukimaru’s protector. Unlike many of Orochimaru’s former followers and those associated with the Tailed Beasts, the two escaped the conflicts of the shinobi world and found happiness together.
While the anime adapted from Naruto filled with filler episodes and stand-alone storylines, many of which add value to the stories and development of the series’ large cast. Although many viewing guides have cut this content, giving longtime Naruto fans a chance isn’t a bad idea.
