That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus’ Dream revealed the prologue today ahead of its October 31 premiere. 8bit is animating the OVA, which will technically premiere in February. night of November 1 JST. Takuma Terashima will sing the opening theme song titled “Hikari Hanatasu”:

Coleus’s Dream is an original short story written by Fuse that was included in the Blu-ray release of the second season. The OVA was announced last year, along with a premiere date for the third season – spring 2024. The series is also known as Tensura by fans.
Atsushi Nakayama is directing the OVA, with Ryoma Ebata designing the characters. Toshizo Nemoto is in charge of compiling the series. Hitoshi Fujima is composing music. The ending theme song is “Kokoro Travel” by Miho Okasaki. The cast will feature some new additions but also returning names from the TV anime:

Tensura is a Japanese light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The anime adaptation closely follows the manga, featuring illustrations by Taiki Kawakami. An anime television adaptation by 8bit has 48 episodes divided into two television seasons. It also has a spin-off anime titled The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, adapted from one of the spin-off manga series. The franchise also has a movie titled Scarlet Bond.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as follows:
Company employee Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer and is reincarnated in another world. But it turns out he was reincarnated into a slime!
Thrown into this new world as Rimuru, he begins his journey to create a world that welcomes all races.
