Classroom of the Elite fans voted for their most popular character and it was Suzune Horikita who received two new illustrations to commemorate her highest ranking in the popular character poll. Favorite in the series. The vote was held last March 2024.
The two new illustrations feature Horikita with both long and short hair. They will be crafted into merchandise that will be released at a later date.
Classroom of the Elite Season 3 premiered in Japan on January 3, 2024 until March 27, 2024. The first season premiered in 2017, while the second season aired in July 2022. Part three will complete the adaptation of the first fifth part of the light novel. Crunchyroll is streaming all seasons of the show.
The returning production team from the second part worked on the third part including Seiji Kishi and Hiroyuki Hashimoto as main directors, Yoshihito Nishouji as series directors, Hayato Kazano and Kou Shigenobu (Classroom of the Elite II Episodes 3, 5 et al) is the series' scriptwriter, Kazuaki Morita is the character designer, and Masaru Yokoyama and Kana Hashiguchi (co-composed A3! Season Autumn & Winter) are the composers. Lerche was again in charge of producing the animation.

The anime is based on the original light novel written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose which was first published by Media Factory on May 25, 2015 and ended its Year One arc on September 25, 2019. A total of Eleven main volumes have been released, as well as three short story collections. The series also inspired several manga adaptations.

The light novel sequel series titled Elite Class: Year 2 began publication on January 24, 2020 and has released 11 volumes as of February 2024, with a 12th volume to be released in July 2024.
