What happened in Spy x Family Season 2 Episode #8?
Spy x Family season 2, episode #8 begins with Yor and her client were trying to reach the storage room to be able to hold the rescue ship. Unfortunately, Yor senses that there are assassins blocking the way and decides to use the service corridors to get to the deck. One of the assassins who had previously picked up their scent correctly identified them and the battle began as soon as Yor and her client arrived where the fireworks show was to begin.
Yor quickly finds himself surrounded by assassins, but fortunately the Director rushes in to take out a sniper, pointing out a nearby trapdoor as he does so. Once the customers were safely hidden in the vault, Yor began confronting countless assassins along with the Director in a bloody battle. Elsewhere, Anya enjoys fireworks with Loid and the other passengers on the train, hinting at the growing relationship between the Forger family.
Only three assassins remain, whom Yor quickly realizes are much stronger than those she has faced thus far. The swordsman quickly cornered Yor as she felt the exhaustion of battle approaching. Wanting to continue protecting Yuuri, Loid, and Anya, Yor overpowers the swordsman, breaking his blade with his bare hands and creating one of Yor’s coolest moments in the series to date.
Meanwhile, Yuri collapses from exhaustion from the cold while chasing a suspect. While resting, he thought back to how Yor had taken care of him when he was sick when they were children, even fighting wild boars while gathering ingredients to make herbal tea for him. Even though the tea has an exotic flavor, Yury finds himself still craving Yor’s tea even as an adult.
Spy x Family Season 2 Episode #9 will likely end the battle on Yor’s ship
Episode 9 of season 2 of Spy x Family is titled “The Hand That Connects the Future” and would likely end Yor’s war against the remaining assassins, including swordsmen. That said, Yor’s client and the entire ship may not be out of harm’s way yet as the informant has yet to be caught and it appears there are still more tricks up his sleeve.
The preview suggests that Yor and her allies at the Garden may have to deal with a bomb hidden on the ship. Luckily for them, Anya’s psychic powers would be perfect in such a situation, so perhaps fans will get to see Anya also discreetly lend a helping hand to Yor. However, the upcoming episode of Spy x Family is sure to be as exciting and fun as previous outings.
