Sound Euphonium Season 3 announced its opening and ending theme songs on Saturday. TRUE will return to sing the opening theme song “ReCoda”, while Kitauji Quartet, the band from the anime, will perform the ending theme song “Onshoku no Kanata”. The jacket illustration for the opening theme song has also been released. The anime will premiere on April 7.

Studio Kyoto Animation will return to animation for a third season with Tatsuya Ishihara as director. Jukki Hanada wrote the script, Kazumi Ikeda and Shoko Ikeda designed the characters, and Akito Matsuda composed the music. The cast includes:
Sound! Euphonium is a light novel series written by Ayano Takeda and illustrated by Nikki Asada. Takarajimasha published the first volume of the novel in 2013. A manga adaptation with illustrations provided by Hami was launched the following year. This light novel inspired a two-part animated television series, both of which were made by Kyoto Animation. They aired from April to July 2015 and from October to December 2016, respectively.
