Solo Leveling episode 4 review and summary: New levels New powers
The episode begins with Jinwoo fighting Lycan hand-to-hand and not having much luck. But in this fight, you can notice that he has become much more flexible and stronger, as he can punch the Lycan straight in the face. Sadly, that still didn’t help, and out of desperation, he summoned his inventory and pulled out a weapon, which was a simple sword.
The sword quickly cut the beast in half and helped Jinwoo level up; he was even able to heal himself quite quickly afterwards. But he is attacked by more beasts, who face death at his hands.
We get a clear picture of the system of power that controls Jinwoo’s life. With daily missions, he can earn 3 points, which he can then use to improve his personal abilities. But now when participating in actual combat, Jinwoo could not only level up, but also receive 1 point for each of his skills, for a total of 5 points. This means that engaging in combat puts him in danger, but it is also the easiest way to become stronger.
After understanding this, Jinwoo tried his best to destroy the Lycans that pursued him later and even earned the title of “Wolf Assassin”. But this is just the surface, as the main boss of the dungeon is still a huge threat for him to face.
Another interesting fact about his missions is that the names of threats also change color depending on how threatening they are to Jinwoo. For example, if a creature is stronger, its name will turn red, if it is equal to Jinwoo, it will be orange, and if Jinwoo is stronger, the color will be white.
This part is just the first part of the episode, as the second half is much more intense and intense. Jinwoo finally faced the trauma of his weakness and decided that he had faced enough ridicule and failure in his life. Now, it’s time for him to be stronger than ever.
Identify
Yes, this time too, we have an episode that is action-packed, thrilling and extremely engaging with the animation. Even the voice actor did an excellent job of portraying the desperation in Jinwoo’s voice as he fought the dungeon boss. I will definitely wait for the next episode, because from now on things will get more interesting.
