The global release of Chainsaw Man Vol. 6 saw a revision to the cover art, removing the use of nudity.

According to Comic Book, the Indonesian edition of Vol. 6 will have an alternate cover that edits the illustration and includes Bomb Devil Reze in the skin. The original image shows the character completely nude with clever placement, hiding parts of her sensitive body. This modified version, pictured below, shows the character wearing a shirt and skirt combo, which she wears in the manga. This information comes from M&C, the publisher responsible for bringing the manga to this country.

Chainsaw Man’s manga often has nudity scenes

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga is no stranger to nudity in its art. The first and second episodes include topless images of the main characters – Denji and Power respectively – on the back. The series is known for its focus on heavy sexual themes, with nudity and lewd activity playing a major role in the production. The Twitter post revealing the redesigned cover inspired positive words from several commenters, who praised the designer and the artwork itself.

Censorship of anime and manga is a global practice, with an Indian television company recently editing cutscenes from shows like To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts. There have even been many cases where anime projects have been completely discontinued. New Zealand has banned titles like Puni Puni Poemii and High School DxD for depicting minors.

The sixth volume of the manga follows the main character Denji as he is drawn into the arms of a charming and sweet cafe employee named Reze. However, his uncertainty about preferring her to Makima is only the beginning of his troubles, as she has a dark secret that connects her to him and the Chainsaw Man form. his. The character made a brief debut during the final season of the first season of the anime adaptation.

Chainsaw Man Season 2 Expected 2023

The TV anime led by Chainsaw Man’s Studio Mappa ended its first season on December 27, 2022 with the episode “Katana vs. Chainsaw”. Mappa has yet to announce a renewal at the time of writing. Even so, the second season is slated to launch in 2023. The manga is available for purchase online, with the latest Chainsaw Man chapters also available on the Shonen Jump+ digital platform. Additionally, the anime is accessible on Crunchyroll in Japanese, English, German, Spanish, French, Russian, and Portuguese.
