The anime A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special released a new trailer and visuals with its premiere on October 7. Arvo Animation is making the series under the direction of Taishi Kawaguchi.

A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special – New Trailer Has Premiere October 7 Day
The official trailer features the opening theme song “Get Back” by FLOW. The anime’s main cast includes Takuma Terashima as Desir Herrman, Tsumi Fujiwara as Pram Schnaize and Sayumi Suzushiro as Romaintica Elle. Takamitsu Kouno is responsible for composing and writing the anime’s script, with Hiromi Kato serving as the character designer. Kenta Higashiohji is composing the music, while Eiji Iwase and Takatoshi Hamano are art and sound directors, respectively.
A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special based on the web novel by So-nan Yu and illustrated by Uk-jakga, was first published on KakaoPage from September 2016 to August 2019. It has received an adaptation webtoon with illustrations by Wookjakga. KakaoPage began serialization in May 2018. It is published digitally by Piccoma and in print by Kadokawa Shoten in Japan.
Yen Press licensed the manhwa in English, describing it as:
The Shadow Realms have ravaged the earth and destroyed almost everyone in their way. Humanity’s survival depends on the success of just six mages, including the analytical martial artist Desir Herrman. The remaining heroes stood up at last to end the bloodshed… but to no avail.
