Following the success of Palworld’s launch, producer Pocket Pair recently revealed plans to develop a card game. Accordingly, all Pals and items in Palworld will be redesigned and included in that card game. Similar to what The Pokémon Company did with its pet Pokemon, Pocket Pair hopes to create an ecosystem and a billion-dollar game brand in the future.
The 3 sketches above were just released by the creator of Palworld, along with gameplay revelations. Similar to other card games, gamers will prepare a deck of 50 cards including: Pals, weapons, items, and resources. Each card has a timer that works similarly to mana, while the battle area includes one opponent Pal and four backup Pals. When a player can destroy all of his opponent’s life points, he is considered the winner.
Currently, this card game project is still being conceived and promises to be released in the future. At the present time, Pocket Pair said they are still focusing all their efforts on Palworld. Starting from updating and repairing the server to make the game experience more comfortable for players. After that, seasonal content will also be released in the near future.
