Our paradise will make Tappytoon their second home this June, in time for Pride Month.
Slice-of-life BL webcomic Our Paradise has been officially licensed in English on Tappytoon. The series originally debuted in English on WEBTOON and is currently in its second season. The entire first two seasons will premiere on June 23, rated for all ages while the first three side stories will premiere on June 24. The remaining three side stories will release. at a later date, on July 1. The third season is rated mature.
Webcomic has a trailer to celebrate the release
To celebrate the release, Tappytoon released an official animated webcomic trailer for Our Paradise, written and illustrated by greener. Set to a melodious tune, protagonist Yang Maehwa, whose face is partially obscured by a red scarf wrapped around her neck, stops at her desk. As he thought about it, he recalled when he used to sit in the same class with his unrequited love Myeong Jaewon. At that time, Maehwa had never confessed to Jaewon and when the two graduated, he decided to give up on him thinking that they would never see each other again. Little did he know that he would be facing Jaewon again in a college classroom.
Our Paradise fans have much to celebrate in addition to another platform to read the series. Art and CGI animation studio Side Nine released a PV for Our Paradise, titled Green Apple Paradise, in May, giving fans a preview of what the animated version of the series will look like. Currently, there is no announcement of the webcomic’s animated release.
Our Paradise first premiered on WEBTOON in December 2022 and has garnered over 4 million views. Webcomic has received rave reviews from fans for its light-hearted artwork with one fan writing, “I knew I was going to be emotionally attached to this webtoon” right from Episode 5. In addition to the English version English, Our Paradise is available to read in other languages, including Japanese, Chinese, Thai, German, Spanish, and French.
