Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders for the upcoming Nendoroid of Gendo Ikari from the Rebuild of Evangelion series. The chibi action figure set will feature references from all four films, including a major reveal from a climactic scene in Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.

When Good Smile Company shared an unpainted prototype image of Gendo’s Nendoroid in November 2023, it simply showed the character with his commonly known glasses. The full sample gallery reveals that the set will include the faceplate Gendo wears in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo and a faceplate that forms a major spoiler from the final film.
The package will come with a chair and table that will allow owners to recreate Gendo’s iconic sitting pose. Those who order on the Good Smile Online Shop can also receive the exclusive NERV base.

One of the sample images also shows the SEELE voice panel that allows anyone to recreate a conference scene. However, these items are not included in the Nendoroid set. The acrylic stand is sold separately as a complete set at ¥5,500/$36.99 or individually with a random number at ¥990/$6.99.
Good Smile Company will close pre-orders for the Rebuild of Evangelion Gendo Ikari Nendoroid on March 14, 2024. The chibi action figure will be officially available in Japan in November 2024 and North America in the second quarter of 2024. 2025.
At the same time, Good Smile Company has also opened pre-orders for newly restocked Nendoroids of Rei Ayanami (tentative), Asuka Shikinami Langley and Mari Makinami Illustrious. They all have the same price of $38.99, and the company will ship them to North America in Q1 2025.
