In Boruto, Naruto chooses work over family, neglects his responsibilities as a father, and things get worse for the Seventh Hokage with a new revelation. There's always been a discussion in the Boruto fan community about Naruto not paying attention to his children, even though he knows better than anyone what it's like to not have parents.
Chapter 10 of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga further confirms that Naruto is not the best father.
Naruto did not tell anything about Kurama the fox to his children
Boruto illustrates Naruto's inability to effectively talk to his children, and the manga's new chapter reinforces this by showing that none of them have knowledge of the nine-tailed fox Kurama.
Kurama is descended from Naruto's family, responsible for the deaths of Minato and Kushina, as well as the destruction of Konoha. That is also the reason why Naruto suffered discrimination in the village. However, despite being an important part, Naruto has kept information about the Nine-Tails hidden and this could now harm Himawari and Konoha.
Himawari is the jinchuuriki most compatible with Kurama but she doesn't know anything
Kurama is so important that one of the reasons Minato created the Rasengan was to protect Kushina – a jinchuuriki of the Nine-Tails who was kidnapped because of it.
Kurama also played a role in Naruto's birth. Considering its importance, it would make sense for Naruto to tell his children about the fox, especially since they were both born with the nine-tailed beast's chakra.
If Naruto had truly been a better father, he should have revealed to his children everything they needed to know about Kurama and its power, but the fact that Naruto never talked to his children led to Inojin died in the most recent chapter of the Boruto manga.
After all, if Himawari had known about the tailed beasts, she could have used her powers much sooner, avoiding tragedy with only the knowledge she had been taught.
