Critically acclaimed author Naoki Urasawa has drawn a new poster to celebrate Manga Barcelona, which will take place from December 5 to 8. The poster features the main characters from many of Urasawa's series, standing in front of the famous Sagrada Familia. Some of the series that the characters appear in include 20th Century Boys, Monster, Happy!, Billy Bat, Asadora, and Yawara!.

Urasawa was named this year's “Mangaka of Honor” at Manga Barcelona. This isn't the first time Urasawa has drawn an official poster. In 2020, he was even given the opportunity to create one for the Tokyo Summer Olympics. Most recently, his popular manga series Pluto was adapted into an anime and is now available to watch on Netflix.
Manga Barcelona is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and will be held in Barcelona, Spain, where many of the industry’s biggest names will be in attendance. The full guest list of current manga and anime professionals includes:

Manga Barcelona recorded over 165,000 visitors in 2023, with 272 exhibitors, 24 special guests, 24 meet-and-greets, 78 panels and 50 conferences. So expect even more for this year's 30th anniversary. Tickets for the Manga Barcelona 30th Anniversary event are on sale now.
