Manga creator Mifumi Inaba announced on his san), a spin-off of Sōichirō Yamamoto's Tease Master Takagi-san (Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san) manga, is scheduled to end after 5 chapters, or the 314th chapter of the series.
The spin-off manga is set when Takagi and Nishikata are married and have a daughter named Chi.
Inaba launched the manga in Shogakukan's Manga ONE in July 2017, and Shogakukan published the 21st compiled book volume of the manga on July 11, 2017. May 10.
Inaba also launched a related spinoff manga titled Karakai Jōzu(?) no Nishikata-san (Teasing Master(?) Nishikata-san) in Shogakukan's Monthly Shōnen Sunday magazine on November 10. The manga centers around Chi, Nishikata and Takagi's middle school daughter, as she teases and is teased by the boy sitting next to her in class. The manga will be 10 chapters long.
Yamamoto launched the original Tease Master Takagi-san manga in Gessan mini magazine, a companion booklet in Shogakukan's Gessan (Monthly Shonen Sunday) magazine in 2013. After Yamamoto completed publishing his manga. Manga Fudatsuki no Kyōko-chan in Gessan magazine in June 2016, Tease Master Takagi-san moved to Gessan in July 2016. The manga ended publication on October 12. Shogakukan published the 20th volume and the manga's final volume on January 12. Yen Press is publishing the manga in English.
The manga has inspired three anime television series and an anime film, as well as other spin-off manga separate from Inaba's work.
The manga also inspired a live-action film series, which premiered on Netflix on March 26 and on TBS in Japan on April 2. A live-action film depicts the original story set Set 10 years after the manga's middle school setting, it premiered in Japan on May 31.
