Mashle Season 2 Episode 12 Review and Summary – Mash Vs
Finally there is the calm after the storm, where we see how everyone is gathering after the big confrontation that took place between Innocent Zero and Easton Academy. While Mash was the one who saved the principal and was also the one who drove away Innocent Zero, the divine visionaries took credit because they didn't want to create panic. And although I think this is an unfair arrangement, I believe that this way Mash will escape unwanted attention and worse.
But now that he's proven how powerful and useful he is, you'd believe that the ever-unimpressive Orter will finally be satisfied. Sadly, he was not satisfied at all, even considering Mash's display of great strength as just a trivial thing not worthy of praise. He even punished Kaldo for siding with Mash.
But amidst all this, what do you think Mash is doing? Well, he was doing what a high school student would do after completing a stressful exam. He was at the beach having fun with his friends and playing games. His apathetic ways, which drive most of his enemies crazy, are actually very funny, as he doesn't care about what's happening around him.
But there is one thing more difficult than defeating enemies and defeating Innocent Zero to get Mash. And it's a challenge that almost all of us face in our lives: the final written exam. Not only does this exam decide whether Mash stays in school or not, but we also find out that Mash is extremely bad at studying. What's more surprising to me is that Dot is actually very good at it. This part was hilarious and seeing Mash overcome this aspect was adorable.
The end of the episode is great, as it shows how far Mash has come not only in terms of strength but also in terms of having good friends. He even knew that he was loved and protected by people other than his grandfather. But Lemon and Dot using their unique methods to protect Mash is really funny.
Verdict
We end this season with a funny story. This episode shows how difficult it will be for Mash to defeat Innocent Zero and his evil brothers. But Mash being Mash, bravely declared that he didn't care about their strength and that he would only try to win with his own strength. I will definitely miss watching more of this light-hearted comedy anime and I hope we get a new season soon.
