The manga Time Kirara MAX originally debuted as a special issue for Manga Time Kirara magazine in May 2004. Despite the release date, the first issue of MAX was released as the “November 2004” issue.
Koi's Order a Rabbit? The slice of life manga first launched in Manga Time Kirara MAX in March 2011 and has released a total of 12 tankōbon volumes as of March 2024. Sol Press originally licensed the manga for an English release, before the company shut down. Yen Press later re-licensed the series for an English release.
The manga has inspired three television anime seasons, a 2017 anime film, a 2019 OVA, and a 2016 video game. HIDIVE is streaming all three anime series.
Yen Press describes the first volume's synopsis as follows:
Drawn by the promise of cute bunnies, Cocoa stops by the Rabbit House Café for a drink—only to find that it's the very place where she'll be living…?! Inside, she meets the diminutive yet aloof Chino, the militaristic Rize, the calm, traditional Chiyo, and the down-to-earth yet elegant Sharo. Watch as the girls' friendships grow deeper as the café is filled with cuteness and laughter from every direction!
Aki Hamazi's Bocchi the Rock! manga was first published in Manga Time Kirara MAX on December 19, 2017 and has released six tankobon volumes as of August 2023, with the seventh volume due to ship on October 25, 2024.
The manga inspired a 12-episode television anime adaptation by CloverWorks in 2022 and a manga spin-off centered on Kikuri Hiroi in July 2023.
Yen Press describes the first volume's synopsis as:
Kessoku Band has successfully cleared the first round of auditions for the Unidentified Riot music festival, but this is no time to rest on their laurels. Next up is the death knell for introverts everywhere – a popularity contest! Every vote in the online poll counts as they try to stand up to powerhouses like SIDEROS, so Bocchi will need to call on all the…friends she has? Um, is this the end for Hitori Gotoh?
