Demon Girl Next Door's anniversary special has been announced and promises to be the biggest event in the series' history. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the manga and the 5th anniversary of the anime, a number of events and merchandise releases have been planned for this year and next. These mini-projects are labeled as campaigns and are divided into three main categories.
The first campaign is the Machikado Mazoku “The Road of Mazoku” 2nd Anniversary Exhibition, which is billed as the largest campaign ever for Demon Girl Next Door. It will feature life-sized figures, original artwork, new illustrations, and merchandise. While full details of the event have yet to be announced, we do know that a crowdfunding campaign to fund the event has been planned, and the dates and locations for the campaign are as follows:
Yurakucho Marui: Saturday, December 14, 2024, to Sunday, January 5, 2025Namba Marui: Saturday, January 18, 2025, to Sunday, February 2, 2025Hakata Marui: February 14 (Friday) to March 2 (Sunday), 2025
Campaign 2 is the only one of the three that isn't a physical event. Instead, it will feature bridal-themed figures of Shamiko and Momo designed by sculptor Izumi Ito. Release dates for these products have yet to be announced.

Campaign 3 is a two-night marathon screening of The Demon Girl Next Door at AEON Cinema Tama Center in Tama City, Tokyo. Running from 10:30 p.m. to 4:40 a.m. on August 9 and September 6, the marathon screening, called “Machikado Mazoku” All-Night Screening ~Let's Gather at Tama! ~ will feature a guest appearance by the show's director Hiroaki Sakurai in a pre-screening talk show.
With two seasons to its name, the anime adaptation of Izumo Ito's four-panel manga, The Demon Girl Next Door, has been lovingly handled by JC Staff and has firmly entered the realm of Cute Girls Doing Cute Things (CGDCT). Showing the anime world that Truck-kun isn't omnipotent and that one can avoid being isekai, the story revolves around Yuuko Yoshida, who, after awakening as a succubus, must come to terms with her new appearance and powers. But when she gets distracted and gets into an accident, her day is almost cut short by a speeding truck. Just when Yuuko thinks the end is near, the unfriendly magical girl next door saves her and a friendship blossoms between the usually bitter enemies.
