The world’s livestream industry is growing as viewers’ need to listen and watch online is increasingly blooming. Accompanying this development are also countless records that have been set such as the number of viewers in a broadcast session can reach millions and countless other milestones have been conquered. But recently, a new record was set by Gifted Prime and perhaps it will be a long time before this achievement can be broken.
It is known that the streamer broke the record for the longest livestream session without sleep. This record was previously set by male streamer ThisFudginGuy two years ago. At that time, this guy had spent 162 hours of continuous livestream without sleep on his broadcast. However, Gifted Prime can do even more. Thanks to his extraordinary endurance, he livestreamed continuously for 164 hours without needing a second of sleep, thereby breaking the milestone that had existed for the past two years. Surprisingly, the owner of the old record, ThisFudginGuy, even appeared on the chat channel of the Gifted Prime stream to congratulate this unprecedented record.
However, as shared by both streamers, this achievement was not recognized by the Guinness World Records. The reason is also very funny when this famous organization requires streamers to pay a third party to review and check that 162-hour livestream. Of course, no one agrees and for that reason, this record is not recorded in the Guinness Book.
As for Gifted Prime, he said this is a record he has wanted to break for a long time and had to spend a lot of time practicing with many failures along the way. However, it is unknown how long this record will last as ThisFudginGuy also plans to “recapture” this record.
