Price is sometimes not an accurate measure of the quality of game projects.
There are many games on Steam that have extremely cheap prices, but the experiences they bring to players are incredibly impressive. In the opposite direction, there are many expensive blockbusters, labeled AAA but then “flop” incredibly. Fairy tales are everywhere and the latest is probably the case of Liar's Bar – an indie game that many people may not have heard of.
Although it does not have a high level of recognition, what Liar's Bar can do is surprising many gamers.
As a Multiplayer game with up to 4 players and currently still in the early access phase, Liar's Bar has quickly attracted a large number of players thanks to its interesting style. The two minigames available in the game are Liar's Deck and Liar's Dice – both requiring gamers to try to outwit other players. Two more versions will be added when Liar's Bar officially launches the full version. It sounds relatively normal, but Liar's Bar has recently recorded very impressive numbers.
Accordingly, on October 13, Liar's Bar reached the highest number of players at one time of 69,083, surpassing a series of other expensive blockbusters such as Diablo 4 (55,561) or Hunt: Showdown 1896 (60,124). It's all thanks to a new updated version on October 8, as well as the low price when gamers only need to spend $7 (less than 200,000 VND) to own it. In addition, Liar's Bar also benefited greatly when it was chosen by many famous streamers to play in recent broadcast sessions.
Currently, Liar's Bar just lacks a few more stats to surpass another blockbuster, Skyrim. And if this growth momentum is maintained, Liar's Bar can completely continue to write its classic story. Remember, the game has not yet officially launched and is still in the early access phase.
