Villain Level 99 Episode 11 Review: In the previous episode, we saw Yumiella help Alicia level up. Let’s see how this episode plays out below.
Level 99 Villain: I may be a Boss but I’m not a Demon Lord or Akuyaku Reijō Reberu 99: Watashi wa Ura Bosudesuga Maō de wa Arimasen (悪役令嬢レベル99 ~私は裏ボスですが魔王ではありません~ ) is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel of the same name written by Satori Tanabata and illustrated by Tea.
Directed by Minoru Yamaoka, the film’s script was written by Fumihiko Shimo and character designs were handled by Hitomi Kaiho and Lo Ho Kim.
Mayu Maeshima provided vocals for the opening theme song, Love or Hate?, while Fairouz Ai and Rina Hidaka, portraying their respective characters, performed the ending theme song titled Suki ga Rebechi (好きがレベチ, Love on a Different Level).
I’ve tried my best to keep the review as spoiler-free as possible, but there are certain elements that I have to cover in order to give a proper response.

Villainess level 99 episode 11 review and summary: Yumiella is about to be assassinated
This episode is the best episode in the entire series. Why? Well, there’s an interesting twist at the end that I have to reveal in this review so fans can finally celebrate this moment. Yumiella and Patrick finally kiss. Now that the cat is out of the bag, let’s move on to other aspects of the episode.
This episode brings about some very big and intense changes in Yumiella’s life. First of all, right from the beginning, we see some people trying to assassinate our main character. While none of them were successful for obvious reasons, it’s still surprising how frequent such attempts are. Not only that, but a very trustworthy person, who Yumiella thought was wise, betrayed Yumiella’s trust and tried to harm her.
That’s when Yumiella looked at society and theorized why the majority of people hated her. The reason is simple, it’s her black hair. Not only her, but everyone else in the kingdom with black hair was abused and bullied for something so simple.
This never bothered Yumiella because she was very indifferent to whatever was happening to her. But when she saw someone else facing similar misfortunes, she understood the importance of standing up. She has the ability to influence others to have a good image of people with dark hair, and therefore, she must take advantage of her position to do something good. Perhaps this is why she finally made a decision that completely changed her fate.
In this episode, we also see who really deserves to be in Yumiella’s life and who doesn’t. Patrick, a friend, understood our heroine better than her parents. And this is why the success of their relationship is important not only to them but also to fans of this anime.
But this episode isn’t all romance, as we finally get to the stage where Yumiella will have to confront the demon king. So you can expect great things from the next episode.
Identify
As I mentioned before, I liked this episode because there were a lot of good elements here. We learn a lot of information and witness some really well-timed character development. Plus, we get a great ending, making us look forward to the next episode more than ever. So yeah, if you’re still watching this series, you need to stop doing that and watch it soon.
