Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the prequel to the popular franchise, and the “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” section have revealed a recap video that will be available on YouTube until August 31. Gojo’s past is featured. covered in the first half of the video, while the second half focuses on the film, chronologically arranged before the events of the first season. The video serves as a bridge to the upcoming “Shibuya Incident,” which is set to begin on August 31. New visuals and trailers will be available on August 24.

The movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 opens on December 24, 2021 in Japan. Studio MAPPA (also working on a second season) animated the film, adapting Gege Akutami’s one-shot manga of the same name. Crunchyroll is streaming the entire series. Viz Media describes the plot of the one-shot as follows:

Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student suffering from an anxiety disorder. serious problem – his childhood friend Rika has turned into a Curse and won’t leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary Curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn to fight Curses. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but will he have enough time to study to face the Curse that haunts him?

Jujutsu Kaisen is based on a manga by Gege Akutami that is currently serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. MAPPA also animated the first season of the television anime adaptation. The plot follows Yuji Itadori, who accidentally becomes the vessel of one of the most dangerous curses ever – Sukuna. Soon, he discovers that there are people who are against curses and they want to kill him to reduce the danger to society. However, he meets Satoru Gojo, one of the most powerful exorcists in modern times. Gojo offers him a way out by letting him study at the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, where he will learn how to control his (and Sukuna’s) powers and be used on those excepting. evil, known as the jujutsu sorcerer. However, something much more sinister is taking shape and Yuji’s school life may be shortened…
